A Celebration of Life:
Yoga and Meditation
Big Sur, CA

December 4th - 6th, 2015

"Each day is a gift. Our time together will invite celebration with every breath and in every movement; we'll revel in the simple awareness of being alive, and we'll breathe with consciousness into the ecstatic energy of life. "In our world today, so many difficulties are present that we can easily get caught up with stress and anxiety about the future, the present, and the past," Charu writes. "Today's pace of life is extremely fast; we can play catch up on and on in an exhausting cycle. During this retreat, we'll form a circle in which we can center and recharge ourselves into a more natural, rejuvenated way of being. We'll let go of mental, emotional, and physical toxins and stresses, and establish the natural flow of our prana, or life force. Once we open to this flow of life, we can celebrate the fact that we are alive, we are well, and infinite possibilities exist. We will spend time in meditation to call in the light and to feel our own energy of healing and strength. We will have time to observe, connect, and expand our breath, and to practice yoga asanas (postures) to release all the tensions held in our muscles and inner organs, so that we may cleanse, restore, and feel the joy of being alive!" This workshop is for beginner/intermediate level yoga practitioners. Please bring an eye pillow, and if you wish, a journal. Please bring a yoga mat
